Itinerary

  • Tiananmen Square: At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and  the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years.
  • The Palace Museum: Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City (closed on every Monday), one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.
  • Temple of Heaven: After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located at southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
  • Summer Palace: Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace. It locates at the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectare. In the Qing Dynastery during the Qianlong Era, the Summer Palace was built by copying the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.
    After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel at about 17:00.

This one day Beijing private No-shopping tour will last about 8 hours and it covers 4 highlight sites in city area: Tiananmen Square-the heart of Beijing city, Forbidden City- the imperial palace of the last two feudal dynasties in Chinese history, Temple of Heaven – where the emperors performed annual worship for peace and harvest,  and Summer Palace – the best preserved imperial garden in China.

  • Offered pickup/drop-off service is available for hotels within 3rd ring road of Beijing city. If your hotel beyond the range, please expect it might occur additional transfer fee accordingly.
  • You are suggested to wear comfortable shoes on tour day.
  • Forbidden City is closed on Mondays. We will adjust the visiting order if necessary. But we promise you will visit all the sites listed in itinerary.
